About subsystems

A satellite is composed of many different subsystems which all have a specific function. The EPS subsystem, which handles the regulation of internal power or the Communication subsystem, which handles the receiving and sending of data by the satellite, are two examples of the many sub-systems that compose a satellite.
But there are also external subsystems related to the launch and operation of the satellite and that must not be forgoten. The separation mechanism subsystem, in charge of ejecting the satellite from the rocket when at destination, the ground station subsystem, who enables the communication from the operation center with the satellite, without forgetting the book and documentation project are such external subsystems of a satellite project.

Organization of the subsystems development teams

In the Cute-1.7 + APD project, the groups responsible for each subsystems are composed of 1 or 2 persons in charge. General Integration Tests are periodically organized to detect the problems and progress forward the completion of the different tasks in the project.
